- the film “Joseph,” which won the African equivalent of the Oscars as 2020’s Best Diaspora Film Feature award at the 16th annual African Movie Academy Awards, and
- “Hell on the Border,” a 2019 American Western film based on the true story of Bass Reeves, the first black deputy US Marshal west of the Mississippi, starring David Gyasi, Ron Perlman and Frank Grillo
