Why should your next act be predictable? Follow Nick Cottrill’s lead and turn your pain and passion into a business!

During the COVID-19 pandemic then-Army Master Sergeant Cottrill was regularly seen by pain management and behavioral health for his wounds received in combat and 40+ airborne operations. Then changes in policies and regulations cancelled all his therapy for both pain management and behavioral health.

Knowing that many others were probably suffering from the same policies, he decided to call one of his old battle buddies to check up on him. That phone call turned in to a weekly zoom therapy meeting. The self-therapy was a giant success, and more were invited to join. The Veteran Trash Talk Hour was born and it was voted Best Army Podcast in the 2021 Veteran Podcast Awards.

Now a recently retired Army Veteran, Nick has continued his calling to lead and take care of service members.

Since 2020 he’s built a team of warriors that produces 5 separate podcasts, putting their stories and emotions on the air via Facebook, YouTube, and all major podcast platforms to support and entertain veterans of all branches of service. Their goal is to lower the veteran suicide rate by providing as many answers as possible to a magnitude of causes.

He’s also a partner in Gruntworks Clothing and since retiring from the Army has joined Moth+FlameVR as Suicide Prevention Account Executive.

During Nick’s service he was wounded by an IED and graduated from Ranger School, Pathfinder School, and Jump Master School. He’s also a level one Master Resilience Trainer.

Join us to learn how he turned his own self-therapy into an entrepreneurial journey that’s helping change and save lives!
