It’s so easy to give up on yourself when it seems like you just keep running into obstacles. If Marklyn Johnson has anything to do with it, though, you’re not going to give in to the despair!
Author of two books, Lessons From a Sh*t Talker and Facebook Conversations: The Good, The Funny, The Ugly, Marklyn’s story is of a lost soul who found his talents, gifts, and knows it’s up to him to share it with the world.
His motto is: My story can be your story if you apply persistence and consistency.
A graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, he’s worked in the production industry for over twenty years. Marklyn’s greatest idol was his father, Willie. When he looks back on his life, he regrets ignoring the life lessons his father taught him. However, when he thinks about the man he’s become today, the way he tells it like it is, the way he tries to lift others up, and his willingness to help others, he is reminded that these are all his father’s teachings.
Join me & Marklyn as we talk about chasing the dream, kicking negativity to the curb, and never giving up.
